Directions:
Antlerola can be used as a feed topper, or in addition to existing feeding stations, when used at an adequate rate of about 10lbs. per 50lbs. of selected user feed (corn, fruit, etc.) Our preferred method of feed placements is 20-25 lbs. (or about 1/2 a sack) direct every 3-4 days per 40 acres AND never placing a full 50-lb. sack in its entirety at one fixed location. One sack will sufficiently feed and HOLD your herd for a full week's time period, while supplying all the necessary nutrition for maximum achievement. Each 40 acre tract with high deer population will best benefit with supply of a least two or more separate mix piles using same poundage as stated above. It is best to keep out the recommended 20 lbs. every 3-4 days once the deer have become attached to the feed. The best time of year for feeding of this mix is from late January/early February through most of October (southern areas), as this period is the stressful times for does carrying and rearing fawns and bucks growing headgear for the following season. Feeding of the mix year-round is not only a good choice, rather ideal, but if used alone you should change to use as a feed topper OR mix in with a higher fat content feed of your choice at the rates mentioned earlier above during the months of November-January. (Use a high-fat mix during these months, such as our CORN MUNCH.)
